Smile New to Monaco Forum

Hi! Hubby and I purchased a 2007 Cayman XL last Spring and love our coach. We've made a few long trips covering all East Coast in months since purchase, as well as many short trips taking family members camping with us. I haven't seen threads related to the Cayman XL specifically, so just wondering...are there other Cayman owners out there we can 'talk' to?

Hi cookingdad and welcome to the forum. I have an 07 neptune xl which is the sister coach to your cayman. They are pretty much the same except for colors. I am no expert on any one thing but have decent knowledge of most systems and would be glad to help anyway i can. Many helpful folks here so feel free to ask. Glad you are enjoying your new coach.

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying your coaches. Are you aware of the "trailing arm" issue on the RR4R coaches. If not you should go to the Roadmaster chassis forum and look at that thread.

Yes steve, had mine replaced about 2 years ago. Would not risk families safety for 3 grand. However, it was hard to write that check.

Welcome to the forum. I grew up in Tryon, N.C. not very far from you. My parents also owned a place in Travelers Rest for awhile before they past on. Yes there are lots of Cayman/Neptune coaches on this forum. Monaco purchased Holiday Rambler about 10 years ago and proceeded to produce the Ford/Mercury Chevy/GMC line of motorhomes. The Cayman is almost identical to the Neptune (Holiday Rambler version). Fire away with any questions you may have because there will be at least one member on this board who has an answer.
