new water pump
Looking to replace the water pump (domestic water pump, not engine). I've got the 55-Aquajet-ORV now but googling that number comes up with the Aquajet-ARV.
Is that pump compatible? What pump has been a good replacement?

Perry,
pump is lethargic I turn pump on and leave a faucet running. Pump will run for a while and then stop on it own. Smack the pump and it may or may not start up again. Intake screen was clean so that's not it. I know pump is original.

Perry,
The ARV is rated at 85 psi. I don't think those are adjustable. What's your thoughts on that much pressure? I know my hose pressure regulator is set at about 45-50 psi.

Bill they automatically adjust, its the exact same pump as your old one don't worry. Aquajet is now owned by Remco. No changes in there line of pumps except designator. I will copy my new manual for you when I get home or call me 7075805323

I ordered it this am
I had a toilet solineoid crack and a plastic fitting behind my shower valve crack almost at the same time. Too much of a coincidence. I'm now wondering if my old pump didn't shut off and over pressurized the system. It's been acting up lately.

Bill had same issues it blew my toilet slide seal and have several pex line fittings leak. Old pump kept running.
I did contact Remco, they want 125 to rebuild old pump, 34 more I can get a new? I'll order new for spare.
Took my old one apart, it's all in the cutoff switch and relay u see the pump housing. FYI new one is quieter, I mounted it on isolator too.

Bill not all the electrical is available to DIY, I asked already. I suppose if we had time we could figure it out as along as there's no issues with automatic solenoid switch. The pump stuff is easy. If you have your out, flip it over and undo the 4 screws. You'll see what I mean.
We leave Thursday, ordered it last week arrived on Tuesday.

35 minutes I was done. I did add weather tight two wire connector. It also comes with a inline 15 amp fuse too, remember to carry a spare.

I cut the lead with the fuse off and wired it like the factory did. There is already a fuse in the circuit. No sense having two on same line.
Perry, in your case the water pump fuse is in the bathroom on the Intellitec board.

??
15 Amp in channel 7 slot. Diagram calls for it to be a 10 Amp.
Is this correct?
I would not want to increase fuse rating above design rating - JMO.
