Hi, we are very new to the Rv sport so here's our story. we purchased a used 96 Pace Arrow Vison back home in Michigan last Dec 06 and on
Jan 5 07 we took off for Arizona. We got as far as MO and blew a rear tire,so four new rear tires then on to AZ. problems with the heaters
on the way. Anyway in AZ we went to Quartzite
to buy some Through Rugs and ended up with a
new Monco Monarch 33'. Thats it so far, I hope.

Mike & Sharon

P.S. the Drifter Lic plate is for my wife's free sprit and my driving style.

Welcome aboard the RV world! Sorry to hear about the tire problem, but this is very common with tires on RV's being too old to safely run down the road. Most will suggest that they need to be replaced at 6-7 years regardless of condition, and in my case, that is a good rule to follow since I have experienced a front blowout. Spend some time reading through the forum postings and you will find solutions to most any future issue as well as ideas for things to watch for. I'd probably suggest also reading all of the manuals on your new coach. The first maintenance item should also be to get your coach weighed (4 point if possible, but each axle at minimum) so you know what the loading is, and what pressure to run in the tires. Good luck and have fun! Stan

Hey Drifter...
Congrats on your NEW Monaco Monarch!!! (Did you get the rugs also? )
I am sure you will enjoy it so much more since you will be doing your own "break-in" period on it - compared to the 9 year break-in done from the previous owners of the 1996 PaceArrow.

May I also be the first to welcome you to IRV2. THe group here is great...and you will find all sorts of help here on the boards.

May I also suggest you post up in the "New Member" and/or the "New Rig" area up above

Again CONGRATS!!!
