I have a few newbie questions. We are picking up our Dynasty (97) in AZ next weekend and driving home to NJ. We figured as long as we were there we HAVE to visit the Grand Canyon. I have been looking at the weather forcast for Flagstaff and there seems to be a good possibility of snow all this week. Having never driven a diesel pusher in snow, how do they handle?

Those that have driven in the snow, advise against it unless it's absolutely necessary.

tom49 -- I live in Gilbert AZ & would be glad to meet you,& perhaps give you pointers on your Monaco -- Gilbert is in the Phoenix area, next door to Mesa -- My advice is, visit the Grand Canyon another time -- Bad weather is heading this way, & the high elevations need to be avoided -- If you`re thinking of taking I40 to AZ,I10 might be a better choice -- The milage is close, & less of a chance for snow/ice -- You can send me a private message, & I`ll give you our cell # -- Good Luck - Bill Willard

Looks like we will have to come back to AZ in the summer if we want to go to the Canyon. I forgot Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet.
