I was adding an additional 12 V socket outlet by the drivers seat and by accident my screw driver touched both + and - thereby shorting them. I totally forgot to turn off the power before i started...stupid me in a hurry.
In any case, now there is no power to the Panasonic Radio (which is also my backup camera screen) or any of the 12V sockets. I went to the fuse panel outside located below the drivers seat and found the radio fuse blown. I replaced it. The 12V outlet fuse were not blown. Still there is no power.
I also checked continuity between the ground at the 12V outlet and the chassis ground. Turned out to be good.
What am i missing here?

ON many cars the radio and 12 volt outlet share a fuse..
I found three places on my workhorse where such fuses may be located
#1 is the panel under the dash that looks like most automotive fuse blocks
#2 is a unmarked box under the hood, center, top
#3 is the battery control center to the right of #2 as you face it.
Doubtful it will be in the house block.
Numbered in the order I'd check them.

You should have a 12 vdc fuse box inside. It may be beside the AC breaker panel. Mine has a radio fuse there also.

I opened up the drivers cockpit display to trace the wires.
There were no fuses in that wiring mess.
At the end they were all bundled together and went into the firewall.
I checked the bedroom fuse...good, radio fuse...good (no power to radio)
I checked all the wires coming into the radio for power...none
I checked the ground....good
At the fuse block outside (below drivers seat area), i checked connectivity
of individual fuses for chassis block fuse, ignition block fuse and house block fuse
That pretty much covers everything.
No results so far, i am really confused now :(
I will call Monaco and see if they can shed some light.

fixed it by resetting the CB

What is a Klaxon circuit breaker, and where, what is the rear run plate? I am trying to run down a similar problem, and maybe this is also solution to my problem.
Thanks
Carl

The rear run plate, in my coach, is in engine compartment - passenger side
This is the high current plate where the output from the alternator comes
to a diode (or maybe a relay) that splits up to engine batt and house batt.
The house batt output goes to various loads via klaxon DC Ckt Brk. There are
several Klaxon CB with different fuse ratings. One of them is 75A DC, other is 150A DC etc etc.
If you trip one of these breakers, the power to front runplate will be shut off.

Thank you, I will look for mine, and hopefully find that one needs resetting.
