I ave a 05 H.R. Endeavor 38 PDQ. About every fifth to seventh time I empty the black tank I am unable to use the no fuss flush until I remove it from the tank and clean it out. It always has an accumulation of semi solid matter inside the jets. I previously owned a 01 Bounder with the same No Fuss Flush system and it never clogged up the whole time I owned it. I am looking for a solution to this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

dfb1,
Please don't take offense, but your question needs to be directed at the manufacture of the product. Look in your owners packets and find the prouct information, then call the folks that made it. I think you'll be surprised as to how quickly they will come to your assistance and help you remedy problem.
If you know the manufacture, let us know who they are and what the exact product is.
We have a San-a-con system in our new Dynasty, which is a powered maserator pump compared to the Sewer Solution we had in our other coach. This new system has proven to be a no mess-no fuss product too, but it requires that the dump valve be open before the unit is turned on other wise the impeller and the seals can get damaged.
If your experiencing unground material in the pump head, you could have a broken impeller. I was told by the San-a-con manufacture, " that during product, things can fall into the black and gray tanks that can damage the pump. If this system in your new coach hasn't worked correctly since day one, that may be your problem.
In any event keep us posted as to what it is.

Hi dfb1 -
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you with us with your Endeavor. When you get a chance, please take the time to update your profile, so's we can recognize each other on the road.
As Radarr said, a bit more info would help us understand your situation. There's a lot of knowledge and experience on the forum just waiting to be tapped. I doubt there's a problem someone else hasn't encountered and solved, which makes it all the better.
Let us know how it goes.
Ron

The no fuss flush I was refering to is the valve you connect the city water supply to for flushing out the black tank after it has been dumped. The small holes at the end of it (inside of black tank) get clogged. It has nothing to do with the sani-con.
I wanted to see if other Monaco owners with similar units had experienced this problem and what might be done to fix it (other than removing it and back flushing).

Ah-ha! Now that makes a lot more sense. We were all thinking the other end of the system.
2 things come to mind. One is that maybe the water-pressure isn't high enough to forceably 'blow' off any matter that may have collected on the flush-nozzle. The other is that if the debris is collecting on the upstream side of the nozzles (like your first post kinda indicates), perhaps you have something that has collected in the line going to the nozzles (dirt, plastic pipe-debris, etc). If the latter, have you tried running lots of water thru the line to be sure it's clean? Or added a small filter right there? Are the regular freshwater lines and strainers all clean?
Otherwise, I'd be stumped. Maybe some others may have an idea or two, but I can't see why it's that line only or why it would keep recurring.
Good luck,
Ron

I dont have a Monaco, but try this.
I use the flush everytime I dump. If the black tank is not quite up to 3/4 or more full, I use the flush to back fill the tank until it is. Then as I am dumping the black tank, I leave the flusher running. After the tank is empty except for the water the flusher is providing, I close the black tank valve and back fill using the flusher to about 3/4 full and then repeat the dumping. I always have the flusher running the whole time so on the final dump, when I shut the flusher off, there is no crud on the flusher or around that area of the tank.
I am guessing that what is happening to you is that you arent using the flusher everytime you dump and that allows particles to attach to it and then dry up and became hard to remove with just the action of the flusher.

Had it happen to me a couple of times. Seems to happen if I let the tank get to full. Then the liquid level is higher then the jets and "stuff" back flows in the flusher. When you turn the water on it forces that stuff into the jets and causes them to clog up. Thats me guess.

loranimal, you are exactly right about the cause. I'm would like to how to fix it. I think if I always dump when the tank is 1/2 to 3/4 full It would'nt be a problem. My problem with that solution is we dry camp most of the time and I usually leave the camp site close to full. I have tried to have it fixed under warranty (soon to expire, 9/20/06)but they say it is a maintenance issue. It may be as simple as changing the location of the nozzle.?? I'm intrested in any other ideas for a fix. Thanks

Hi loranimal -
Welcome aboard the monaco forum Glad to have you with us, and good luck with your Diplomat. When you get a chance, pleasue update your info, so's we can recognize each other down the road.
Sounds like you caught dfb1's problem right away. Never occured to me that there would/wouldn't be a stop-valve in the flush line right there at the nozzle-heads. Goes to show ya how useful this forum is.
Thanks!
Ron
