No generator start - Help

Hi all, picked up my 1998 HR Endeavor. Batteries really low. Plugged in to 50 amp power now to charge batteries after 3 months in shop.

I push the generator start button and get nothing. Light flashes 3 times and repeats. Any thughts? Trying to move to permanent storage but want to run generator while driving.

Thanks

I wasn't holding start down long enough and wasn't hearing the starter click. I got it going by opening front of MH and holding start down on the gen set. Should be good to go.

Good deal, remember it's a 'deezle' and in the cold has to warm up the glow plugs first...

in summer mine starts in about 1 sec, the other day it took a long time ....

The clicking you hear is the fuel pump. The colder it gets the longer you hold the start button before the gen will turn over.

Thanks for the info. I thought it was the starter Anyway, I got it to start back in October with a simple push and release but this time couldn't get it and thought I was in trouble. Gotta put my hearing aids in because I couldn't hear the clicking from inside the coach. Ran the genny for a couple of hours (3) and will go to storage lot to run again this week. Had my first 75 mile drive and all went well! Wooohoo
