No power in bedroom slide using inverter
Why would the bedroom slide 110 volt receptacles work with either shore or generator power, but not the inverter? And how would one fix it. This is a '06 Diplomat, 38'.

I suspect a 120V output breaker on your inverter has tripped.
My inverter has 2 pop-out breakers on the face panel, (push in to reset).

Monaco probably did not wire these outlets through the inverter. In my 2005 only 2 of the 6 outlets in the bedroom are wired into the inverter and they are not close to the bed.
It is my understanding that this was done to prevent plugging an electric blanket into an inverter outlet. The modified sine wave from the inverter will kill an electric blanket posthaste. Now I have to run an extension cord to power my wife's CPAP machine.

My Phiiiips Respironics CPAP machine runs on either 120VAC or 12VDC.
CPAP.com - 12 Volt DC Power Cord (connects CPAP to cigarette lighter socket)

My 08 Endeavor is not powered by the inverter either in those areas. Changing it could be a real chore. You would need to trace your wiring and run the wire to an inverter supplied outlet.
You may be able to install your own socket and run a new wire versus messing with an existing wire. As mentioned, be sure your device will run on a modified sine wave device.

Gary:
I asked Monaco about this a couple years ago. The bedroom outlets are not hooked up to the inverter because they did not want someone running any equipment (like a cpap) and running out of battery for the inverter in the middle of the night. Probably a liability issue. I looked into re-running the power. Don't bother, as Myron said, it would be a real pain. Extension cord works just fine.
Cheers,
Mike

Thanks everybody for your quick response. I'm using a CPAP with an extension cord for now. If I'm fully charged when I turn on the inverter at night its still above 12 volts when I turn on the generator to make coffee in the morning. The 12-volt option was a good idea. I'm due for a new machine so I'll make sure to get a dual voltage next time.

If your coach does not have an AGS you might want to look into one. Our 2006 Diplomat came with an AGS (Automatic Generator Start).

Installing a AGS can help in keeping the batteries charged, sensing the need for charging without actually monitoring them.
The problem is many campgrounds have quiet hours and you need to lock out the AGS during that time.
Now you have to wait till morning coffee anyway.

Our AGS will not start the generator if shore power is connected so the quite hours only apply if you are dry camping in a National Park, etc. without shore power. The AGS has a quite hour setting that you can set to keep the AGS from starting the generator until outside the quite hour range you have set.

That's a good point about the AGS. My AGS doesn't work either but that's the subject of another thread which I just started.

That good since there would be absolutely no reason for the generator to start, if plugged in to power.
I completely understand how an AGS operates.
I just don't understand how this helps the OP, who is at a dry site, with his morning coffee.
He still can't run the generator, while dry camping in noise restricted sites, until quiet hours are over.
An AGS won't fix that, more battery capacity will.
Many Federal, State and County dry campgrounds have " Night time generator restrictions "
