Coach is about 75% ceramic tile. Only in bath room floor makes a popping noise when stepped on. No visible cracks in tile or grout. Sounds like tile has become separated from floor, assuming tile was laid with adhesive over subfloor. I can live with the pop although someone I live with can't. How big of a job is removing tiles in bathroom (about 9 sq ft) and recementing them to floor . . . assuming that is the fix to my problem? What other problems will I cause?

I have the same problem in the same area. I had a few tile repaced under warranty, but they started poping again. You might want to ask a professional tile setter about different types of glue you can use. I think the tile break easy when you try to remove them, so you might try calling Monaco parts and see if they stock the same tile. I'll be following this thred to see how you make out, then you can tell me how to fix mine...Bruce

If the coach was made in Elkhart, the tile was installed with Epoxy adhesive. If the coach was made in Oregon the epoxy adhesive was not used. Epoxy should be used if possible.

Hi dmason,
You'll need to ask the local tile techs about this. Our tile has been repaired using a hypodermic type needle kit. The tech drills a small hole in the tile. He draws the epoxy into the hypodermic. Inserts the needle into the hole and fills the space under the tile with the glue/epoxy. Sometime the space is larger than one would think and the amount of glue/epoxy it takes to fill it is amazing. The tech fills the hole with a matching color caulk/sealer. Put something heavy (cinder block or a full paint can or two) on the tile for several days. The longer the better.
