I decided to start a new thread to update progess on solving the problem with my refrigerator not auto switching to gas when power was removed for travel. I cleaned all the plug-in terminals on the circuit board and other components, which resulted in no improvement. One poster suggested switching around the (110) plug at the plugin outlet. My refrigerator has only 1 plug so I moved it from the bottom plug-in to the top plug-in and this resulted in no improvement. With the coach unplugged, I checked the voltage at the plug-in for the refrigerator and found 110 volts at both plug-ins. This voltage had to come from the Inverter. I have a Trace RC7GS inverter and the electronic panel said the Invertor was turned off (No green light). My inverter is physically located in the last rearward bay with the Hot Water heater and plumbing. I located the invertor and it was humming. I manually turned it off and the humming stopped. I turned the manual switch back to on and the invertor appeared to stay off (the humming did not return). I checked the electronic control and the inverter still showed off. I checked the refrigerator plug and it now showed no voltage. I turned the Inverter on at the panel (the geen light came on) and I again had voltage at the refrigerator plug. I turned the Inverter off at the panel and checked both the voltage and the inverter and it was off. So to sum this up, I did not have a refrigerator problem, I had an Inverter problem. For some reason the inverter was on while the panel showed that is was turned off. The inverter was suppling power to the refrigerator plug from the batteries when the coach was unplugged so it would not auto switch to LP. After I manually shut the inverter off, the refrigerator auto started on LP normally. I am not sure why the inverter did not shut off with the panel control and since I normally keep the invertor turned off, I am not sure how it came to be on. After manually resetting the inverter, it seemed to come and off at the panel normally. Has anyone else had a problem with their inverter not turning off when the electronic panel says it is off?

Do you have the icemaker and the refer plug switched at the wall plug in back? The inverter keeps the icemaker running but supposed to drop the refer off when inverting. Should have two romex wires running to the wall outlet.

I shoud have mentioned, the refer shouldn't be on the inverter if you have LP. Should be only 120 volt when on shore power.

Perry, thanks for your reply. In my case the Norcold only has one plug. This is a 2000 model year and the ice maker must be powered by the same plug as the refrigerator. The wall plug-in that the refrigerator plugs into has both plug-ins connected to the inverter. It may be possible to rewire this plug so it is not be on the inverter circuit, however, I do not use the inverter and normally keep it off. I recently had my electrical charging system and batteries inspected at a local RV shop and they likely turned the inverter on to test it. The problem occured when they turned the inverter back off for some reason it showed off at the panel inside but did not turn off. After discovering this problem, I manually reset the inverter (switched it off and on at the inverter) it now seems to be working.
