My four door Norcold is acting strange. I seems to be keeping the temperature cold and meat in the freezer is solid, but it is apparently defrosting the fridge fins which causes water to run down to the bottom of the fridge and out the bottom door seal. I know these don't self defrost so any ideas of what's going on??

Randy, the Norcold 1200 and 1210 do have a defrost cycle. There is a hose attached to the pan under the fins on the top of the rear wall of the fridge. If you go outside and remove the door to the back of the fridge, you should see a hose going into a very small container. The hose may be stopped up. The end will look like it is pinched together. Use a toothpick and insert in in the end. You only want a small opening so warm air does not go up into the fridge. When the unit defrost the little container will have water in it.

You should not have water running down from the catch tray to the bottom of the fridge.

Problem solved, thanks Rex.

Had exact same problem with my 1200. Turns out the hose that attaches to the drip tray would just push back into the frame when I pushed the tray in. I pulled some slack through to the fridge, connected it to the little nub and then put the tray back. Drained down to the tray just fine.
