Norcold Ref. Icemaker

Recently the icemaker in our Norcold model # 1200LRIM stopped working, this happened right after we had the latest recall completed, I think that it is just a coincidence in timing and that the recall work did not have anything to do with the icemaker not working but you never know.

I have water going to the solenoid water valve but the solenoid water valve is not opening to allow water to fill the tray. I have the ref. up to temp but do not have any power back to the solenoid water valve directing the solenoid water valve to open. The 110 power for the icemaker is also ok. Any help here would be appreciated

Also, not sure how the icemaker comes out of the ref, does anyone know of a website that I can go to in order to get more detail on removing the ice maker?? I would like to know more about this before I start unscrewing things.

Thanks to all for the information on the service manual and parts manual, this is what I needed to check out the icemaker and it did not pass muster. Went to Lowe’s and purchased the whirlpool unit for $49.88 and we once again have ice.
