Dear wife is now asking for additional bins on the doors of our Norcold 1200 series refrig. Does anyone know of a good source for these. Norcold part number is 622831. My dealer can order them at a cost of 22.50 each plus shipping. I sure think that is a little high for a piece fo plastic. Any help would be appreiciated.

The Monaco store at the Oregon maintenance center has the bins and I was surprised to find they were reasonable in price. We bought two for the same price we paid for 1 on the internet a few yrs ago. Check them out.

Ouch, ouch, ouch. Wish this thread was here a few months ago.

We bought several of the trays for our original LRM1200 frig (and paid the dear-price, naturally), but when the frig was replaced last fall with a new LRM1210... guess what? the trays won't fit anymore! So we gave the old ones to the folks next to us at Camp Monaco. I don't think they were aware of the gold-mine they received.

Ours were reasonable thru Monaco Parts, but sounds like there's more than one outlet now.

Contact any of the dozens of RV salvage yards for parts like this and you can save a ton of money.

Sorry about the late response.

We bought them while we were at the repair center.

I added a couple to each door on mine, but I've read a couple of articles about the hinges being a little weak on these doors. I use to fill all of them with water bottles or soda cans. Now I try to put a little lighter weight items in them. 50/50 soda and other stuff.

I have never seen a problem with the hinges on the Norcold doors. It was on the Dometic refrigerators that the hinges were the problem. I have seen where the new Dometics have improved in this area and should no longer be an issue either.
Ron, glad to hear you have found the door bins.

We have a 02 Dynasty with a Norcold frig. Last summer the right hand door fell off the hinges when my wife opened the door! We were able to find a replacement door in Sacramento. The discounted price was $400. The orginal door had plastic hinges, the replacement had metal hinges. Norcold never had a recall on the doors, and the company in Sac. carried them in stock because they broke off all the time.
