This question may have gone around at some time but given I'm new here I didn't see it. Question: I've got a 2004 Monaco Cayman and need to have entry door keys made. Does anyone know if the new owners of Monaco will help folks or is my best bet an RV repair facility and hope they can have 'em made?

Thanks for any help

Larry

Any locksmith/key shop will be able to help you with keys. They are not manufacturer specific.

Larry,

If you already have at least one set of keys you can get copies made at most locksmiths. If they don't have the blanks they can order them. Not sure where you are located, but Lazydays in Tampa has made keys for me.

When I went to pick up my new to us luxury quad slide fiver from the dealer, They said a disgruntled employee "lost" all the keys to all compartments. They had no keys. They said I could wait a week and come back or that they would knock 100 dollars off the price and I could get my own keys. I chose that latter because the dealer is 200 miles from home.
Fortunately the compartments were all unlocked. I took the 5er home and immediately took out all the locks and took them to a locksmith. In 20 minutes I had all new keys for battery compartment, storage compartments, a strong box under the overhang, and the outdoor entertaiment panel and the front door. They were able to get the key codes off the lock assemblies and cut the keys. I got 12 keys total cut from the #s off the lock sets for 78.00$.

While I'm here I just thought of another question.... My wife was asking me how to cut the small halogen lights (2) that are under the front TV. Since we've only had this coach about a week I was sure I could turn the lights on, "wrong"! Anyone out there know about the lights I'm talking about and where the switch is?

Thanks,
Larry

Thanks R&J, that's the one switch I didn't think of. Naturally when I turned the switch fully CCW the lights didn't work but the bulbs are probably burned out. I'll replace them and re-check. Thanks again....

On the lights, try pushing on the lense. Mind do not work on a switch. I just push it and they come on, just like in my chevy.
