Shock Life
Interesting responses.
I am at 20,000 on my Monaco 2006. I do not really have any symptoms of shock problems.
I have had other brands of coaches, this coach delivers a totally different ride.
Certainly do not expect to do a bounce test at 37000 lbs.
Close observation will have to do, possibly take one end loose to check resistance to movement is about the only way to check.
The wear on shocks is usually so gradual you don't relate to the wear until you replace them.
I have over 30 years in automotive repair and management, usually seeing vehicles that rarely need a shock repair, and usually lasted close to 75000/ 100,000 miles.
I expect to replace these much sooner from what I am reading.
Thanks to all responses, appreciate the input.

If it has Monroe shocks on it and has 20,000 miles then they are bad. This is such a common problem with Monroes. They start to go downhill around 15,000 miles and you just don't realize it.

I just replaced my Monroes with Bilsteins and after 20,000 miles the Monroes were shot. New shocks made a major difference in handling in my opinion.

I also have been in the auto business for over 30 years have sold my share of Monroe shocks and never felt a huge ride improvement in any car I have installed new shocks or struts in. That being said I replaced the monroes on my 06 Diplomat 40pdq based on the reviews in these forums .All I have to say the difference in ride is amazing best money spent on the coach hands down!

For whatever its worth;
Weigh your coaches
Use the correct load table/PSI chart from the tire manufacturer
Then set the tire pressures cold using a high quality gauge.
Its really the only way to know you have it right.
