Ran some as a controlled test in a commercial diesel fleet once. The lab results were so convincing I had one installed on my personal vehicle.
On the business side, there was no case to be made. The high cost of the filtration system plus oil analytics ate up all the savings in oil changes, erasing any financial benefit. Likely there may be some extension of the engine life, however by the time the engine is worn out the rest of the vehicle was too. I think in the case of most MH, even more likely to be true.

So how many miles do you put on your MH in between oil changes when driving a lot? Do you run synthetic oil?

Usually in the 7K range annually. I don't run synthetic oil in either the Cummins or the Gen.Set.

I had a couple of those Bit My Weenie (bmw) cars. I can only imagine how testy that group would be. Took my, at the time, NEW M-Roadster to the local track with the local bmw group in Seattle. Side by side, with their Z3's and they insisted the cars were identical and the M powerplant was purely a marketing gimmick. That discussion ended after the 1st round of 0-60 timed runs. All of a sudden, none of them wanted to brag about how fast their 190 hp tracter motor 6's were. I just SMILED and left early before the rest of the days activities were completed.

Well, yeah there used to be a good delta between M cars and others. Im not sure if the Mgroup has gone soft but the margin is less. Not only do the twin turbo (inline 6motors) with just minor mods, tend to have better performance now than the M (of the the same generation), BMW went and effectively used the same engine design for the M serious after 2014 as their general lines. Both in the V8 and also in the 6cyl applications. I guess since they put the motors in SUVs (as does mercedes ) they have to make it a wide application powerplant to ensure cost recovery.
And most of the M suspension parts on my E92 (previous gen 3 series) so even left/right the margin is not big.

The M-Roadster I owned was a 1998 model year. I'm sure, in the generations that followed, the differences between the z3 and z4 vs the m's changed some. But, when they added an additional 50 HP, better exhaust system, wider tires in the rear with the flared fenders, the performance difference was significant between the same year z3 and the M.

Regardless of how little I drove the coach over the year I change the oil once a year with all filters. I use Shell Rotella with a gallon of Lucas.
I have 2004 ISC which is a low pressure high volume. The Lucas gives me a little more pressure and provides good start up protection especially if the coach has sat for a long time.
I would not use synthetic as I have know others complain of oil consumption. Besides you are most like driving far less than 15,000 miles a year.
I experience on annual oil changes that my fuel filters showed some slime on the top of filter several times even though I only drove the coach for 5,000 miles. Just got bad fuel several times.
Several times Speedco damaged my coach, bent dip stick tube into engine, leaking fuel filter on the generator, over filled the power steering pump, lost the power steering pump dip stick and did not tell me and had oil gushing out all over, leaking fuel filters . Let's saw I was on first name bases with Benjamin Crain in the claims department. Speedco did pay for all the repairs.

...
Becareful of using the Lucas. My son sent in a sample from his Freightliner Detroit Series 60 with 20k miles and the Blackstone oil sample came back with too high out of spec viscosity readings for the 210F and 100F temp. He uses Rotella T 15W40 oil and his next sample will be w/o the Lucas additive.
