outside lighted grab handle.

Our grab handle snapped in two.
Tried Gorilla glue and did not work.

Are all Monaco handles the same length????
Anyone know where to get another one?????

I've seen them on ebay as well. (lighted RV grab handles)

They are different sizes and styles, so you'll need to check. Lots of choices and options

They get brittle from the weather and aging. If you glue it, it will likely break again at a different spot.

Mine did this past weekend too! They must all wear out at the same time... but dang, over $100 to replace... gotta think on that.

Ours wasn't lighted, but about 2 foot of wire and a cheap led light and a bit of drilling on the bottom and it is now

Instead of just gluing it back together, consider drilling a small opposing hole on each piece for a metal rod to fit into. That will give it additional longitudinal strength, instead of just where the two pieces mate.

Mine also broke several years ago and I had an off the wall fix which has worked very well since. I happened to drop into a hardware store and they had a display of different diameters of fiberglass solid tubing. I picked out the tube that was the diameter of my handle and with some guidance from the supplier I found out that if you heated it up it could be bent to the profile of the existing handle. It also could be cut to length using a table saw or a hand saw depending what was available. I prepared a form with some blocks of wood that matched the existing handle and then I heated the new fiberglass rod in the kitchen oven.....I think the oven was around 400F. I waited until it was good and hot, and with gloves proceeded to bend it to the form of the old handle. I had to do some filing on the ends to get it to fit into the existing bracket handles. The handle has been in place for 6-7 years now, and still no signs of cracking. I lost the light feature as part of the old handle has a reflective feature with the name placement etc. The cost was about $10 and the "feel good feeling" was priceless having succeeded. Just an idea.

Acrylic solvent will weld it back together but could be messy and require you sand and polish the outside. The work may not be worth the savings from buying a new one, but that's how I sometimes do things.
