We have an 04 Camelot. I suddenly hear a rattling noise that seems to happen only when Pac brake is on. I was following in our toad when I also heard the noise. Any ideas as to what is causing it?

Possibly the Pac brake is sticking. Have you ever lubed it?

I lubed all the areas according to the lubrication diagram given to me by Monaco. I would assume the Pac brake was included but now I am not sure. I will check. Thanks for your response.

If you are referring to the Lubrication chart that Monaco supplies in the rear of the owners manual, PacBrake lubrication is NOT included. You need to obtain that specifically from the PacBrake web site. Also, you can use Tri-Flow lubricant for the PacBrake instead of what PacBrake sells.

Here's a link to the Pac Brake web page on lubricating the mechanism. It's important to do this no matter which lubricant you choose to use.

Thanks for the info. Reached our destination today so now can try to deal with this problem. I use diagrams showing lubrication points given out at a Monaco seminar at a Monaco rally, however, don't see a Pac brake on it. Thanks again.
