While at the Monaco Rally I purchased a PacBrake PRXB. Got it from Brazels. The guys were friendly and seemed to know what they were talking about. They had a a table full of exhaust brakes.

I originally had a Jacobs brand exhaust brake installed. It worked but just didn't seem to hold the coach back like I wanted.

Did the install myself. Two clamps and an air line and the old one was out (10 mins, tops). Got the new one installed and discovered it uses a 1/8" NPT air fitting vice the 1/4" NPT for the old one. The instructions said an adapter was included but none was to be found. Went back to the vendor area to talk with the Brazel folks. They were packing up their booth and told me to check with the their service guys across the street. Ran over there and they hooked me up with some fittings and tubing. Finished the install in a few minutes. Manully activated the brake to make sure it worked.

Got to give it a good test on the drive home. Lots of hills. Over 60 MPH don't notice much of a change. Once you get down to 50-55 MPH I notice a big difference. This one seems to "hold" all the way down to about 20-25 MPH.

Cost $700.00 including the $50 rebate. I think it was worth it.

The two photos are actually from when Lukeaa had his installed while I was there. The young man who was doing the work from the inside of the coach knew all about iRV2. he then mentioned that Keith of Redlands (who is his boss) and Mike from Brazel's was outside.

Luke & I decided we should thank them for their sponsorship on iRV2. Luke even told them he used them because of their sponsorship!! (I am sure Luke will weigh in with how his worked here too.)

I didn't think it would hurt to give them a plug here because of their sponsorship. I can also tell you they are readers of the site. Keith even knew my signature photo.

It was a pleasure meeting the two of you.

PS...Mike, I did go over to take photos of the booth-but it was all locked up
