Folks,

I am a first-timer to the RV world. My wife and I purchased a 2011 Monarch last week and are happily moving our goods into the rig for our maiden voyage. But, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to "release" the pantry slide so that we may place some kitchen items in it.

Any and all sugestions will be greatly appreciated.

On the lower right hand side of the pantry there is a lever, press it. You will kick yourself for not figuring it out. I did it as well!!!

Tom and Jimmy,

Thanks for the info. I am feeling a bit sheepish for the simplicity of the matter.

My wife actually found the release on the back side of the vertical post of the pantry slide. You can imagine the grin she gave me. So much for my quasi-engineering approach to solving this problem. Next time I'll get "The Boss" to help me out and save myself a lot of time.
