While camping at the beach I tried to pull off the site and the park brake would not release. Placed coach in reverse and she broke loose. Seems to work ok throughout the day after being freed but overnight will stick again.
What's going on? What is the fix?

When parking in an area with a high level of moisture, like the beach, it can cause the brake shoes to rust to the drums. There are some discussions about this in some of the other forums. Like here.

I'm with Ron on this one. I used to have a boat I backed into the ocean and on occasion the rear wheels on my tow vehicle would get wet as well. I'd park the tow vehicle and set the park brake and low and behold at the end of the day the shoes were welded to the drums. once I got them broke loose no other problems.
Try doing a daily air brake check. This includes full brake application with the park brake released. It is designed to discover any leaks in the pneumatic system of the vehicle. The additional benefit beside finding a leak is I don't have a problem with the brakes taking a set anymore.
The tow vehicle I would try rinsing the brakes with fresh water, too.

Generally when that happens it is after running in the rain and the brake drums are wet best solution is to ride your foot brake as you are going to your camping spot to heat up the drums and they should not rust and stick the brake shoes if dry.
