Party lights
I've always loved my crazy little party lights that I hung from my awning on my old TT. When we bought our new MH... darn it's sooo tall! I'd have to get on a ladder to use my party lights. Any ideas on how to get some outdoor lights? Our dealer mentioned mounting LED light strips. Anyone try that? thanks.

I don't know how one would run wiring to a light strip on the awning because the awning must unfurl by winding. Seems like the wires would quickly get wound in a knot.

I've seen a strip of led lights that mounts on the side of the coach just underneath the awning. If you placed them just under the awning rail you wouldn't even see them unless the awning was deployed. I think one of the awning manufacturers actually makes a kit with all the hardware.

Carefree shows one to mount in the awning tube but they don't show the mechanics of it.

Thanks! I did some research. Carefree does indeed make a LED light kit w/remote for awnings.

They use a flat wire thats sewn into the forward seam of the material. Rolls up with the awning.
