Password for Aladdin

Help, had some battery issues and my Aladdin went down it is now asking for a password. Is there a factory password out there, numbers only?

Woodman018's suggestion agrees with my Aladdin troubleshooting manual. It specifies that 2004-2006 systems are protected by the code.

Aladdin

Factory is 1281, just confirmed.

I cannot get it to accept. Looking for a reset button. Going to pull the fuse.

Would the Kenwood KNA-G510 have anything to do with it not accepting the 1218? On the back of the manual (Aladdan) it is hand written "Kenwood Security Code-dealer must reset."

Bob, your 2007 Aladdin system should be 1218.

OK, 1218 did not work, i called Kenwood and they said that i needed to google the model number KVT-M707 and search for an unlock code. I am doing that but have not had any luck.

Thanks to all who have responded, i appreciate any other ideas or suggestions. This is ridiculous. I may have to remove it and send to the factory.

Confused, If your Kenwood display shows the Aladdin info requesting a password, you need the Aladdin password, not one from Kenwood. If the password msg is on a Kenwood screen, well, there you go. The Aladdin Maintenance code I have is, as others have said, 1218.

Yes sorry for the confusion, upon further investigation it is the Kenwood Model KVT-M707 that i am needing. I should not have said Aladdin (I have both), I apologize.

Try this site...

or...

Enter your number from the remote control unit. Your code number is 5227 (KCAR)

* Press numeric key "5" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 3 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "2" ( 1 time ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key
* Press numeric key "7" ( 2 times ) and press the Track UP/Next Track key

(maybe required: when finish all the procedure, is necessary to press "TRACK UP BUTTON" for 3 seconds.. and youre done.)

(Above from this web site.)
The security is canceled and the set enters the TUNER mode!

And here's another site.

Bottom line is that security codes suck and don't really make anything secure.
