porch light on 2009 camelot

Our porch light quit working. The switch is by the front door and still lights when turned on. Changing the bulb did not help. The info in the front run panel shows the porch light is controlled by relay 12 (and 87a). Changing that did not help. Things used to be much easier. Any help would be appreciated.

Your socket might be bad or corroded...try to clean with scrub brush...then put 12v bulb back in (1141 bulb if memory serves on mine)..might be a fuse with it too but I'd have to look that one up.

Does the grab bar light up when you turn on the switch? It is on the same circuit.

Verify the button switch on the lamp itself is on.
