I have been writing embedded controller software for 35 years and you would be surprised at the strange flaws we programmers can overlook in the code. The EMS is programmed to follow different logic based on whether the coach is plugged into 50 amp or 30 amp shore power. The generator is always 50 amp. It is possible that the software flow does something unusual when input conditions to the state machine are other than what the programmer tested for. In other words, being on 30 amps could cause a different behavior when the front AC breaker is turned off as opposed to being on 50 amp shore power.
