Power Antenna

The original power antenna does not operate fully, thinking of taking it apart to diagnose, would like to fine the make, model, parts info first.
the control panel seems to be a different manufacturer.

Manufacture was bought years ago and the new owner dropped that product. No parts are available. I suggest replacing it with a modern stationery one you don't have to worry about cranking up and down.

The P.O. had left a Wingard RS 3505 new in the box in the closet.
I installed it where a satellite antenna was at one time.
At home (outside Baltimore, MD), I get all the local OTA channels.
We went to a campground west of York, PA last weekend, & I only got 1 channel. My friend in the next site has a crankup batwing, & got 8 channels after rotating it a few times. I'm thinking it might be best to have both options,
if the fixed doesn't get much, try the directional. If the powered unit is no longer available, maybe go with a crank up in it's place?

Is it a Winegard MA1000 antenna? http://www.winegard.com/help/images/c/c7/2452081.pdf

I would like to know how it comes apart also. I like it and have a wifi antenna mounted on it but I think the brushes and commutator need cleaned.

The old batwing has cheap add on called wingman that brings in even more channels. I think it's for better UHF. That more digital stations are on now. The old internal amplified batwing on my TT pulled in stations better than my 30' home antenna.

My original power antenna was a Concord, they went out of business and a third party bought their parts and was supplying them until he ran out of either the parts or the demand. I replaced mine with a King Omnipro. It doesn't move, sits a lot lower than the Concord and gets about the same reception without having to rotate the antenna.
