Something else you might be interested in is an extension for the filler. The tank has a vented filler cap on top of the tank and it seems that the cap vent will expel fluid sometimes even with the correct amount of fluid in the tank. Another member here, I believe it was DutchStarDon when he owned a Diplomat, came up with the excellent ideal of adding an extension to the filler cap to prevent this. Before adding the extension we were often having to clean the outside of the tank. The parts are simple pipe parts available at home stores. If you need to add fluid you just unscrew the whole extension and not the filler cap at the top. See photo below.
