Pressure Protection Valve leaks

OK, got one of the pressure protection valves torn down and inspected. will try to post pictures to this but if not I can email to anyone interested.result is there are no replaceable o-rings, looks like the diaphragm has very small cracks and that in the sealing surface around the edge. have found replacements but mine are a 2 output port style and all I can find is a single output port. I believe I can put a pipe T in the single port and handle it that way but does anyone have any known negative reason not to?

The small leaks were between the top hat and main body

I repaired two of those today. I got these https://www.ebay.com/itm/PRESSURE-PR...53.m1438.l2649 and unscrewed the top hat of the old one and replaced it with the top hat and movable parts of the new one. Took about 5 minutes. The body generally doesn't need replaced, all of the corrosion and wear is in the top hat section. No, I wasn't that smart until I did a couple of others and wasted lots of time.

Thanks guys, would agree the body that I removed looked great. I am sure the other 3 are just as good and it is the rubber goods in all of them, replacement of the 4 of these and the one pop-off should take care of all the leaks on front and rear tanks

I replaced all my PPV valves as they were all leaking. I used 45 PSI valves.

Are your's all located on the two tanks under the front roadside slide-out?

Hi everyone in this thread; My question is to Kenwyatt and Barmcd. Before replacing the pressure protection valves did you find that the air bag suspension was dropping rather quickly? When I bought my 2001 Monaco Windsor in 2015 it would take a week or more for the suspension to start to drop. In the last year the rear will drop all the way down overnight, but the front still takes about 2 weeks to start to drop. I have checked the rear ride height valves for leaks and lines coming from the rear air tank to the air bags for leaks and get no bubbles. The rear drops evenly on both sides all the way down. Just curious if this was occurring to your coaches and weather replacing the PPV has made any difference. Thanks in advance for your response!

Country,
My fwd tank is center above the steering axle and has 2 valves. The aft is center fwd of the transmission and has 2 valves also
Oilburner,
I have not done the valves yet, waiting on them to arrive, found over time mine drops on the drivers side and aft first. Also my small air compressor was not coming on in auto leveling mode. That should be working now. Tested the compressor in manual mode but not in full automatic. Waiting on the protection valves. I am fairly sure I have more than the pop offs and protection valves leaking. Will continue the search as I fix items as I find them. The coach is usable as is but I like everything to work as designed or better

For the air bag system, there should be a one-way "check valve" (not protection valve). The air goes from tank to air bags (through HWH leveling valve and Ride Height Control valves).
At least that's what is shown in the air diagram.

In case you don't have it here is the Sept. 1999 HWH Air Leveling Systems Textbook. Perhaps it will help? https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml20635.pdf

May 2004 HWH Service Manual http://www.hwhcorp.com/ml31043.pdf

Country,
Good point on the check valves. Figure I will get what I see leaking fixed and the Automatic leveling going and also look at the check valves when I go under to rebuild the protection valves
