I don't think it would matter if you custom ordered it or the RV dealer ordered it. Navistar shouldn't discriminate. Good luck my friend. deSanford

Nothing all that major but here is a list.
1- Delete main awning from coach and add an awning to the
Side of the curbside slide.
That should make it way more usable for us to use.
2- Add an Aquahot outlet to the storage bays
Should help if we have to head south in freezing weather
3- Add a dishwasher to the kitchen
Not to much in the way of custom work, but enough to make it work much better for us.

Getting rid of the main awning that is high in the sky is a great idea.

X-2 you are getting the low price level.. Particularly if the dealer is worthy and close to home to insure the new coach bugs get handled to your satisfaction. Believe, this is service issue will save you lots of bucks.

Is anyone concerned about purchasing new Monaco's with all the rumors about Navistor maybe selling off the motorhome division? If they couldn't sell it will they just shut it down? If that were to happen I'm a little worried about still being able to get parts.

Navistar has said that they will do their BEST to have the buyer qualified to service and maintain the reputation of the RV line of coaches. They are NOT having a fire sale to get rid on the RV line, but indicated they would like to return to their core business. Actually most everything is for sale for the right price. deSanford

I can see them maybe selling it, but if they planned on shutting it down, I can't see them investing in adding new and more floorplans like tthey did with the Diplomats, or bringing out new models as in the Dynasty.
They are also talking about bringing out even more higher end models.

i don't think anybody on this thread has talked about maxxforce vs. cummins. probably should be looking into this for future resale values and other things. i sure would prefer the cummins over the maxxforce. just my take on things happening at navistar. jim

The current deal Navistar has with Cummins is just for the ISX15 to replace the rebadged Cat C15 that Navistar was trying to get EPA certified with their fuel system and market as the MF15.

Nothing wrong with a ISX15......that being said the Maxforce 10 that Navistar is using is a very good engine with TWIN turbos and NO cow piss. deSanford
