New 2008 Monaco DIPLOMAT 40SKQ $266,766.00 MSRP for $143,000.00

Found this on e-bay, starting price NO RESERVE!

How low will prices get, have been following E-Bay and used units especially REPOs are going for $.50 on the $1.00 of low retail, most are low mileage and good to excellent condition. Those listed at very low prices are selling, if listed for more, they re-list and re-list and re-list and are not selling.

I think it's either going to get worse (if you're selling), better (if you're buying) and about a wash if trading up!

What do you think?

I have been watching eBay and Craigslist, too. Someone posted a deal too good to be true on Craigslist a few weekends ago and the camper (don't remember the details) sold within a few hours...something like I have this $90,000 camper and $30,000 of tuition bills due this week, so that's what I am selling it for. I felt bad for the seller but wish I had found it a few hours earlier!

That IS an amazing deal if the unit can, in fact, be purchased for the listed price. As I write this, there are no takers yet (ebay). It'll be interesting to see if the unit sells that low or if it bids up to the usual 25%-30% discount off for a leftover.
