Last evening I went out to check the MH and make sure everything was good with the electric and found that everything was running on battery power. When I say everything I mean only the fans. It appeared no electric was coming into the inverter. I called Magnum and talked with a tech advisor. He had me do several things but the one that worked was changing the rate of charge for the batteries. He had me change it to 80 amp. full charge. It was on 90 amp. He said it comes from the factory with it set at 80 but apparently sometime in the past four years it got changed to 90. With the days being so hot and the inverter charger having to work extra hard, the charger could not keep up with the demand of the setting of 90amp. Maybe someone out there knows what I am talking about. Anyway it seemed to work as the charger went back to working and everything seems to be ok this morning.

Bill, The 80-90 is a percent used to set the maximum charge rate allowed to charge batteries during bulk, absorb, float and equalize charging. The MAX CHARGE selections are provided as a percetage of the inverter/charger maximum charging capability. Most should be set a 80 which means it should take about 4 1/2 hours to completely charge your batteries to maximum charge. At 90 percent the charger would take half that time, however the charger has to work almost twice as hard. This is all selected using the "Tech" button on the inverter remote. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response, I thought what you said but wasn't sure. I was wondering if anyone had a simular thing happen to them and what they done about it. It is two days later and it seems everything is working as it should.
