Should be a busy month January. Going to the CES show in "Lost Wages" 8th to the 11th. Catalina Spa in Desert Hot Springs before the Quartzsite get together, and then we will head down the 10 to the Navistar RV circled MHs. deSanford

Mike,
Since Sanford said this was a gathering for Navistar (or, is it Navastar?) motorhomes, can I still attend? My Monaco is a non Navistar. I don't want to upset all the Navistar owners.
I'm asking you because you have been the designated Wagonmaster for our group in QZ the last few years. And, now that have been elected the official Wagonmaster, you make all the rules. So, can I come?

I am hoping we can make it, also. Whoopee, snowbirds at last!
Newbie to this, are there honey wagons, water service, shuttles, can we bicycle to the show, grocery stores, beer stores?
TIA!

Hi Coma - looking forward to meet you.
To empty tanks and get water, you have to take your rig a few hundred yards down the road. There will be a line there with other RVers so you will have to be patient. Go to Quartzsite with empty grey/black tanks and a full water tank.
No shuttle, but normally you can ride with others in our group without problems. Bicycles - I would say yes that it is within range. I would probably take 13-15 minutes going an easy pace.
There are supermarkets in Quartzsite, but I would recommend that you bring everything you need.

Basically the answer is no... There is a dump station (with water) that serves 3000-4000 rv's so the line is measured in hours (usually 3-4). The road into the show is a busy 2 lane and it's 2+ miles to the show and 3ish to "town" and any stores. Bicycle at your own risk.
Suggest bringing EVERYTHING needed to have a good time during the show and empty black/grey tanks with full fresh water.
