Sorry to have so many questions in a short period.

For some reason the previous owner(s) of this Dynasty spliced in a flat 4 way plug into the wiring of the 7 pin outlet on the rear of the coach. The harness has 7 wires and they disconnected 3 wires to 7 pin outlet.

The wire colors are:

Red
Green
Black with a white stripe
Brown
White
Yellow
Black

The red, green, and black/stripe are not connected, just hanging loose. Looking straight down at the connection the other four wires are connected and 3 spaces on the plug are open. Hope this diagram makes sense.

I have 3 unattached wires and 3 open connectors. Does anyone have a diagram of which color wire goes to which connector?

Thanks for the link! It looks pretty straight forward to me but with my luck...ain't necessarily so.

I rushed out to the coach and found a different wiring setup. I'll try to keep it short:

Lug 1-White-Ground Actual wire: BLACK
Lug 2-Blue-Elec Brake Actual wire: none
Lug 3-Green-Tail/Run Light Actual wire: BROWN
Lug 4-Black-Battery Charge Actual wire: none
Lug 5-Red-Left Turn/Stop Actual wire: WHITE
Lug 6-Brown-Right Turn/Stop Actual wire: YELLOW
Lug 7-center pin for Backup Actual wire: none
and auxillary

I started to change the color wires to the color that was showing on the plug but thought I had better ask here first. Would changing to the correct pin damage anything? Is this thing wired wrong? Maybe I should just take it to a repair shop?

Thanks

Wayne

I think I'd be calling Monaco to see how they wired it. Actually, I'd be checking it with a Volt/ohm meter to make sure which wire did what..Here's another site that has this disclaimer on it:
Vehicle manufacturers have intermittently changed wiring colors over the years.
It is recommended that a circuit tester be used on the tow vehicle's wiring harness to verify that the correct wire has been located for the proper function.
