questioning Monaco chassis light wiring

I have wired my toad lights in to use the original lights. Seemed easy enough as the MH has separate turn signals as so does the toad. I installed the diodes etc. Everything works as it is supposed except if I turn on the flashers the 4 ways on the toad will flash the brake lights. Then I notice that both turn signals and brake lights flash on the MH. I'm a retired auto tech after 43 years of doing this kind of work and have never run into this situation before. Is the MH wired correctly? Has anyone run into this before?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Jim

Double check the coach wiring there are harnesses inside and above in engine compartment. My brake light wires were crossed.

I just bought a 2005 Windsor and plan on towing my 2013 gmc pu, bought a wiring harness that plugs in directly to the pu wiring and plugged it into the mh flat plug and it works just great!!!!!

10 Boomer: when you say your brake light wires were crossed what wires were crossed and where is the connector located?
Thanks
Jim

My brake wires going to the tail lights were crossed with the running lights of the same tail lights. My brake light didn't work on the right side.
If you look at right tail light ( easier to access) on my coach. Pull back wire covers the lines are labeled what they are for and we're too they need to be connected. Then I traced back to were it came from harness, then use deductive reasoning. Same could apply to harness for road.
