I just recieved my fathers coach due to health issues. It is a 2006 LaPalma DP with 2 slides.

The chassis batteries went dead and Dad said their is a minor drain issue that has not been able to be detected. Will the chassis batteries charge off of the gen? Or, can I jump them from the house batteries and recharge them that way?

The coach will be parked in a secure lot with no AC power so I am thinking about pulling them out and keep a smart charge on them.

No I would not jump the house batteries to the chassis batteries. This will drain your house batteries. The generator will charge the chassis batteries but may take a while.

Your best bet would be to remove the batteries, put a good charge to them, charge them above 12.6 volts or more, then put the trickle charger on them. How old are these batteries?

If you are just trying to get the coach started there may be a battery boost switch that will tie the chassis and house batteries together. I doubt that on a La Palma the generator or shore power will charge the chassis batteries. I would remove the chassis batteries and get them fully charged using a external battery charger. There should be a Battery disconnect switch that you can throw when storing the coach, however there is still some loads due to engine and transmission computers. So depending how long the coach is in storage the chassis batteries may still go dead. You could look at adding some type of solar panel to keep them charged.
