Thx John, we'll see. 3 hours chasing wires to no were! Now I found out why the toggle switch doesn't work, it's not hooked to anything, wires under coach attached to nothing. Not factory. Removed now.

Ok a little more progress on lighting. I had a day of wasted time. [emoji31][emoji848][emoji850] now the lights are good, face plate off on step cover to see better. Fyi don't try to attach lights to moving step cover, it's a real head banger!

Carpet cutout and fitted for front side. I left it same height as floor for now. When I get the mirrored SS next week, I will cut 5" off top. They will overlap and the carpet will need to be bound and edged, before adhering to side of step box.

Could have use that back in 05 when our 2002 Beaver went by way if the Big Smoke Screen in the sky.
I'm new here and so have figured how to post pictures. Otherwise I could scare the hell out of ya. Nice installation, and wish I had that back then.

After many modifications and years of service the screw holes along the edges of the panels were broken and the plastic was looking dated.
Using aluminum to reconstruct the radio stack and console area things look and function much better now. I did not replace the instrument stack with aluminum but did a lot of repair work and covered it. I may still opt to replace it with aluminum.
The monitor has been out of the radio stack area for years but wanted to mention how much better it is because it is right in line with my vision while scanning the right mirror. The GPS is easy to use along with my phone that has blue tooth of course and the program Waze to help with traffic.
The console to the left of the driver was really needing help. The leveling panel was mounted 90 degrees off so it was always annoying to use. The switches need protection from fur babies and they cannot release the parking brake with this setup. The cover is held open with a small magnet The solid one piece console cover is now a two piece unit so taking it apart is much easier. The little square box at the bottom of the switches is a control for my new air cooled seat cover. It seems to work well but I have not traveled with it yet.
The entry control switches and the passenger switches will soon get the same treatment.
The radio has standalone speakers now because trying to remember to push the audio switch was a pain.
The audio cabinet has been completely redone many times and currently has a custom made component support that flows air through the heat making items. It takes a crazy man to spend the hours I have with my arms in those cabinets.

Nice looking panels, did you make the yourself or have them fabricated?
