Another electrical problem I'm having on my Dip is the power to the dash radio. I have a 4 year old grandson who is fascinated with all the buttons and switches, so to save problems we told him he could use the radio power switch on the dash. He did many times (you know 4yr olds) and now we have no power to the radio. I have checked all the fuses and don't find any blown.

Have any of you had these switches fail? Or what other ideas do you have for me?

Johnny loves to drive Grandma's house to the park and he's distressed that his radio switch doesn't work, so Grandpa's got work to do

If it's like mine, you may want to see if the radio switch in the bedroom is stuck half way between positions, this will kill power to the main switch in both positions.

If the reset does not do it pulling the harness from the back of the radio should ...mine was reset that way.

Th switch turns the radio from house power to chassis power on most brands. If it doesn't turn on with house power, switch the ignition key to "acc" or 'ign" and see if it comes on.

Dennis got it right! Thanks Dennis it was the switch in the bedroom and I never thought to check that.
