I'm having to deal with this manufacturer. They won't give out freebies like many other manufacturer. I broke my tower portion at the ball mount and only need them to send the tower piece/ball mount which is the assembly which holds the mirrors and stuff. I've had it apart a few time now, and this would be an easy fix for both the manufacturer and myself. All they need to do is send the piece I need and I will pay for it. Instead they insist I send the whole mirror to them for repair and they will send it back. Seems a little redundant to pay for shipping twice to get only the piece I need.
Anyhow, as you state, at least they are willing to deal with the end consumer and they don't just point you in the direction of their dealer network...Which btw would tack on their extra cost for handling the transaction and who knows when you would get your replacement parts...
In regards to your question, it is very easy to install the mirror with a set of allen keys and a 3/8 socket and wrench. No need to pay someone to install for you. If you run into dis assembly/ assembly problems, they are good to send you pdf files of your specific mirror. Matt
mreverman@ramco-eng.com is the guy to email.
Good luck

I thought I had a good augument because the driver's mirror has no blistering and the passenger mirror arm only has blistering in one section. That didn't work. I guess I should be happy to be able to purchase the part instead of the whole mirror assembly.
Can some one tell me approximately what replating would cost? Anybody out there have another sugguestion?
