Rear exterior ladder

I have a 2008 Monaco Safari Simba 37PDQ. I purchased the coach used and the roof access ladder was cracked at the top support. My owners manual has little information to help in trying to purchase a replacement ladder.

information that could help me locate a new ladder would be greatly appreciated.

John

Hi John; You might try RV Factory Surplus in Elkhart In. You can go to their web site and there is a section on ladder replacement parts. I got some parts for the ladder on my previously owned 2000 Monaco Windsor. If you don't see what you want on the web site you can call them. They used to show more on ladders than they show now. Last time I bought from them was in 2008. You might me able to repair your current ladder. Hope this info helps!

I made two new ladder supports with this kit and some 1" alum tubing.

Stromberg Carlson also makes new ladders if you have the measurments from your old ladder.

John-

I elected to repair my rear roof ladder, rather than replace it. I used parts from Factory RV Surplus and etrailer. Here's a post I made.

Monaco (parts department) will quote you a new ladder. The one for our coach is:

Part number 10120385
Part cost $460.67
Delivery cost $175
Order-to-delivery 16 weeks

Monaco orders this ladder from a wholesale-only manufacturer (Christianson Industries, Edwardsburg, MI, Ashlee <ashlee_orders@yahoo.com>, (269) 663-8502); I could order parts from them, but not a whole ladder.

If it's still there (ours wasn't), there should be a label under the bottom step of the ladder that shows the part number.

Here's a link to a Google search of iRV2 posts with the phrases "Holiday Rambler" and "ladder" in them.
