rear ladder replacement

Hi Just bought a used 2003 Holiday Rambler Endevor. I need to replace the upper portion of the rear ladder. Called the dealer I bought the coach from. They want $359.00 for the ladder, plus $110.00 to install. The price of the ladder seems way high. Does anyone know of another place to get a exact replacement ladder? Thanks Wolf1281

Take a look under the bottom step and see if you can find a label with a number on it. You need the number if it is from this company:

Christianson Industries
27328 May Street
Edwardsburg, MI 49112
269-663-8502

For my 01 Diplomat (may be the same for your coach) the number is MHL176 and there is another number of 60556 for the top ladder. The removable ladder is MHL242 - second number 59684/ Tje cpmmectpr tubes are 206200 - 5180. My upper ladder is a 6 step unit. If yours has 6 steps they should be the same.

If the above company does not recognize any of these numbers then try this one:

Atwood Mobile Products
1120 N. Main St
Elkhart, IN 46514
800-637-8938

Hi I called Christianson Industries. They quoted me $150.00 for the ladder. A fifteen dollar boxing fee,and $150.00 for shipping. That's only $24.00 cheaper then the dealer. Price was good until they hit you with the shipping. Their about 178 miles from me. I'm going to see if we can go a little of route on a trip South, and pick up the ladder ourselves. Thanks for the numbers. That makes it a lot easier to order. Without the numbers they send you a skematic to fill out and try to match up your ladder. Thanks Again

Glad it worked out well for you. Going by their facility sounds like a good plan. Will also give you the opportunity to hold the ladder up against the rear of the coach to make sure it fits.

Inside some of the attachment points are some star devices that bolts go into. Can't remember if our ladder has those but you might want to check with them if you should need these. My ladder is attached to the coach with rivets rather than bolts.
