Rear slides coming together

My slides meet in the rear so the one you pull in last will not go in all the way it runs into the other slide. Am I the only one with this problem?

This sounds like there is something in the way between the opposing slides. Assuming the bedroom, check for throw rugs, shoes, pillows or any other obstruction which will not let the slides all the way in. Otherwise I am clueless.

Is it hitting the mattress?

We need a photo to understand what you're talking about.

Did someone replace the mattress or put a extender at the top? No way slides should touch all the way in from factory

If that is what is going on, the OP's thread title is a little misleading (confusing).

You're right. I don't know the OP's floor plan. I can't imagine the slides are hitting, but maybe they are. I know on ours, the foot of the mattress will snug up to the opposite slide, but we can get the slides all the way in.

If someone were to put a longer mattress in there, I could see a big issue with getting the slides in. that's why I asked the question.

Maybe a larger picture of the area from hallway. I’m not familiar with the layout. Could be something loose that protrudes into bedroom more now.

In order for my opposing slides to close they had to go with a short, radius king mattress. And even then it's up against the cabinets when closed.
But to be like the OP's would take somthing out of place or broken. Can't really tell much from the pictures.

Your coach is one year older than mine. I don't have that lower carpeted area in your picture. What is the large carpet box? Is that the box under the mattress?

maybe a picture from further back would help us. WAG right now is the bed frame has come loose from the headboard wall. I'd take the mattress out and see if that is the case.

Looks like the carpet has been replaced with thicker carpet on both the floor under the dresser and the base of the bed. Could be just enough the hold the slide out an inch at the bottom.

IM the third owner and everything seems to be original. These rear slides meet and one will not go in all the way, don't see anything that's been changed.
