Rear slides fail to move

I had something happen the other day that I still do not understand.
First the wife noticed the rear TV would not completely retract into the cabinet. wouldn't come out either. No problem since it is in far enough as not to hinder anything.
The next morning as we were packing up to move, we couldn't get the two bedroom slides to retract. Front living room slide worked fine, as all lights throughout the coach. The only thing that didn't operate was the rear TV retracting , and the two slides. Oh, when the rear slide buttons were pushed the Hyd. pump would run, but no movement.
After much checking fuses with volt meter. climbing under coach and locating Hyd pump, I try the Salesman switch .
Yes you guessed it. Every thing worked. I was under the impression the switch was to kill all 12 volt inside coach.
I am saying all this, not so much as asking for an explanation, but to let you all know how something simple can create large problems.
See ya on the road.

Not to be smart alek but the best thing to do with the stupid salesman switch is read procedure on bypass and get rid of it. You would not believe the things that get flakey with poor 12v. When they go bad it can be partial and destroy 12v items with undervoltage conditions.... You have to work hard to convince me what use the switch is anyway.. D

I agree. I never have used it. There is a better master switch located in the battery compartment.

I learned a lesson about that switch on an '09 Tiffin Phaeton. The switch gets it's power from the chassis batteries. I couldn't get lights, awning, etc in the coach to work but the house batteries were fully charged and the manual disconnect was on. Upon hooking a charger to the engine batteries, the switch worked, allowing me to turn on power to the house.
