we own a 2002 beaver santiam with acuride wheels. our outside rear valve extensions have both decided to start leaking at the same time. does anybody know what brand these were? i just called m.tech and was told they don't use them anymore and didn't have a clue what brand they were! does anybody have any ideas? thanks much. jim.

Jim I am assuming you are talking about barded extensions and you probably dont want to here this but I would remove all the barded extensions and find a way to install the solid extensions, I think the 6" would work OK and turn the outside rim extensions around.

A good big rig tire shop will have metal valve stems that will provide the correct length and angle for checking and filling tires (with the right truck style pressure gauge and air chuck).

Braided valve stem extensions have a known failure rate and put a lot of stress on the valve stems, causing leaks.
