I received the D.C. Thermal SA-3000 heater and installed it, along with the 87A relay. It's working great. This heater is much better than the original "Cargo Heat" heater and is slightly smaller in physical size.

I just ordered the DC thermal SA-3000 heater myself. Actually supposed to arrive today. I've heard it's a very good little heater. Gotta be better than the piece of junk from Monaco. Hopefully will get her installed pretty soon. Thanks for the suggestion of this heater as a replacement.

Tony49, did you use the existing 10 GA 30 amp Monaco supplied power wire to power your new heater? I was looking around yesterday and planning out the install. According to their power loss chart that DC Thermal sent a 10 GA wire is borderline for the distance it's ran. If I looked correctly the existing Monaco wire is protected by a 30 amp circuit breaker. Just curious to what you used since you said it worked great. Thanks
