Removal of Hide-A-Bed

I have a 2008 Monaco Knight 40DFT. We are replacing the hide-a-bed couch with two recliners as part of our initial renovation to the coach. My question is has anyone taken this out? I have a lot of manpower available but looking at the best way to get it out as it has been sold.
Help?

We have a hr navigator. We took out the couch/hide-a-bed and replaced it with 2 recliners. We also put a small cabinet/side table between them to have a place to hide a aqua hot heater/outlet. It also provided a place for a reading lamp. Go for it.

I removed the one from out fithwheel, when we still had it, and the back lifted off and I took the folding bed part out by removing a few screws..tie the folding part up with cord so it doesn't fly open while your moving it.. Not sure about the Monoco.. our Holiday Rambler already had the couch out and we put our two lazy boys in there when we bought it.

Thanks to all who responded. My initial thought was to take the coach apart and reassemble it when i go it outside.

I saw a couch and a full size refrigerator go in thru the drivers side window (it was completely removed) at the dealer once on a Dynasty

That's what I did with ours, gave it to my son for his house. Replaced it with two La Z Boy recliners as they are much more useful to us.

Did you have to disassemble them to get them inside?

Here is some previous posts on this subject: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...tallation+iRV2 . The Dw and I changed out our sofa bed to accommodate two Flexsteel recliner swivel rockers. There is a picture or two somewhere on this forum. The recliners are much nicer to fall asleep on then the sofa bed. de Sanford
