removing the slideout cover

first thing--one of my plastic covers that cover the screws to remove my slideout cover must of blown away. any idea where I can get a replacement? 2nd-- I noticed about 2 feet of the tape that seals the edges ( under the awning) of the slide out has rolled up. I want to remove the awning so I can replace the tape. do I remove the screws from the 3 areas to remove the awning? and I am ok with laying the awning cover on top of the slideout so I can do my repair work? any issues with doing it this way? looking for suggestions. thanks
