I'm looking to replace the shocks on my 2000 Monaco Knight with Bilstein Shocks. Each site I only find 2002 to 2008 listed. Does anyone know if there is a difference in the 2002 and the 2000? I contacted Monaco LLC and they say they should fit. I see another post on here with the same consern on a Dynasty. Thanks Ray

I would contact bilstein and ask them as they have just re-valved their RV shocks and there is probably a new # for them.

Just spoke to Kevin @ Bilstien @ 1-800-537-1085. He told me the ones listed for the 2002 Knight will be fine for my 2000. I just ordered them so well see when I put them on.

I'm in the same fix with my 2001 Ambassador on the R4R chassis. I also have been told that the 2002 is the same. I'll be interested to see if you are sucessful

I installed Bilstiens on that are listed as per Kevin form Bilstien. They fit fine and were fairly easy to install.

Thanks for the Bilstien info. I'll send my order in.

Ray - Just looking back through old posts. Did the new shocks give you a noticeable improvement in your ride?

Big improvement. Took the bounce and sway right out. A little stiff perhaps but worth it. By the way the shocks listed for the 2002 Roadmaster fit the 2001. Easy install by a back yard mechanic.

If you are going to replace all your shocks I would highly recommend Koni FSD shocks and you will notice a difference in the ride. Bilstein shocks are good but some people have said they give a hard ride. I instaled 4 Koni shocks on my coach and I am thoroughly pleased with them.
