Replacement tires for 1997 HR Endeavor LE

Replacing michelin 235-80 R22.5. Old blog posts suggest Monaco suggested 275-70-R 22.5.

My tire installer says that, as well as the 255 size would cause dualies to kiss.

Understand all late 90's HR Endeavor had the same tires. Could you give me some suggestions?

245/75R22.5 is what is commonly used as replacement for the Michelin 235/80R22.5. I just put on Bridgestone Ecopias in that size. As pricey as Michelins, but so far, so good.
