Have a 2000 Monaco Diplomat, replaced house batteries. It is now difficult to remove easy fill covers on two batteries due to the cable length. Want to replace them. Has anyone done this in the past; if so, what size cable did you use 1/0 or 2/0. Any input/recommendations will be appreciated.

We extend cables all the time, just use whatever size is already being used just a bit longer, as well use a good type welding wire, it has more strands for higher current and is very flexible.

Get new copper ends at NAPA. Go to a welding shop and buy 2/0 welding wire. They will attach ends for you ! Don't go too long or you will have trouble closing tray.
