Source Engineering has come out with a complete RR8R Ride Enhancement Kit which includes new airbags for the front of the coach.

I have been gathering some information on it and will be posting some information down in the Roadmaster Chassis Garage soon - but I did want to let you know that Source Engineering has been listening to what the owners want and have taken the next step by adding the airbags.

I have been gathering other information (kinda like a fly on the wall ) on some other products they are coming out with also. I will post more information as soon as I can.
Thank You Scott and Jim for listening to what the owners are looking for!

Just curious about the incentive to do this. I thought the RR8R was already a good handling and riding chassis, at least mine is. Just wondering what they could do to make it better and worth the expense?

After 70k miles I replaced the Bilsteins and got better handling on our 04 Imperial. The only issue I still have is the tendency to porpoise. It is greatly improved with the new shocks but it still does it. I've noted a better ride in places that were notoriously bad.
I suspect they are doing a "WalMart wobble" and porpoise fix. Hopefully it won't cause a divorce when I want the fix!!

After I posted my repsonse I remembered I had already done some ride enhancements by adding Koni FSD's and a Safe-T-Plus. Neither were absolutely necessary but they did help a bunch, especially the Koni's. So, maybe there is a need because the stock Monroe's did allow more porpoising than I liked. The Koni's fixed it. It will be interesting to see exactly what they are marketing. I know they have a good reputation.

After driving an 03 Freightliner the move up to an 08 RR8R is such a difference I may never notice any problems even when the shocks give out.
